    Don't forget Mollom. I've read good things about it so it might be worth a try. It was originally developed for Drupal but they have a Wordpress plugin nowadays.

    @ Mark : I've tried Mollom and unfortunately it didn't impress me much.

    @ Carl : Well I hope things are better. I've shifted back to Akismet as of now, just to test things around and will surely shift back to Defensio.
