Congratulationgs on achiving PR4. My blog has only been up for a month and I need to spend more time fine tuning it but I beleive that with time and work I too can get there.

I don't care a lot.. because i look after SERPs which is not decided by Page rank.

    Congratz on the PR4.
I personally think that PR while it does have its flaws is still important. One of my blogs has a PR of 2, and some of my other websites have PR1 or PR3. Some fell in PR, but this was still a good update for me. My goal now if for my newest blog which is not yet ranked to be at PR2 next update

yes PR doesnt matter much then serp's ...

traffic is the thing which a webmaster or a site owner looks for ... a normal individual doesnt know wats pagerank ( PR ) is ... they just come to chill out or get some useful info from a informative site or any other...

but still PR matters a bit for the webmaster for sure .. as it shows the ranking of our site in Google eyes

When page rank updates are made there seems to be little change in SERP's. At the end of the day it is just a good way of measuring the authority of a page

Yeah that pretty true. Although, lately there has been very less influence of page rank and there are other factors that have gained more weight.

I've witnessed some examples where pages with no PageRank are in the top 1 or 2 positions on Google for somewhat competitive terms. I've also witnessed new pages that rank well in the SERPs almost immediately when they're on sites with established PR. It leads me to believe that the PR has a strong influence over the speed and quality at which the page will rank but it is clearly not the lone measure.

Indeed, even I've seen so and the biggest reason for the same is the authority of that domain and the on-site optimization of that particular page that ranks well for certain keywords,
